My friend got passes to IMAX to see the first several minutes of the new Batman Film: The Dark Knight Rises.

So this weekend should be very exciting! I am going to the Central Canada Comic Con AKA C4!

I have a weekend pass and I am very excited to go!

But for tonight, my nephews are going with me. :D Which shall be interesting... ~~(someone save me, oh crap what was I thinking?)~~

Seperate they're okay, together though, they are a bit of a handful. lol

I plan on having fun and enjoying myself and getting some cool stuff too!

Seriously, there was car eating fog outside on my drive to work today! O.o And it was so much fun scraping ice off my windows.

- So, the continuing story of my fic drama of last night:

I am at work right now, I checked my email - it was quarantined because of offensive language...*headdesk* No one will look at it, but it will be purged in 7 days. I'm so not asking IT to go get it. A good note thought, the txt file is still saved.

So, I printed out a copy for myself and I used a personal email before I started my shift to send the text to another personal email.

BASES ARE COVERED PEOPLE!!!

- I was very happy to wake-up this morning and see one of my stories was rec'd on

- I also signed up for

mini_nanowrimo! I even increased my word count this year from 100 words a day to 300. This shall be itneresting. :D

- There is some major house keeping I need to do on my

ateamfanfic comm. Good thing it's a long weekend

- CANADIAN THANKSGIVING ON MONDAY!! \o/

AND

IN THE NHL, THE WINNIPEG JETS HOME OPENER IS THIS SUNDAY!!!! GO JETS GO!!

I worked on a fic at work during my break and sent it to my personal email and IT'S NOT THERE!!!! *cue panic and flailing*

And I can't remember if I deleted it or not from my computer at work. *flails some more*

I did so much work on it and was so happy with how it turned out, I can only hope it's still in my sent folder at work or I didn't delete the txt I saved.

It has been completely dead all day long and in the last hour I've had 12 files dropped on my desk to close and 4 files to open. O.o

So, I went to my sister's apartment to help her out with her new laptop. That went really well actually.

She was quite happy with what she learned and I got fed dinner. :D

The downside, apparently a pipe blew at the bathroom at the house, so I am hiding out here until it's fixed. Which should be another couple of hours. O.o

Back from the cabin, had an awesome time! Avoided 4 deer and 2 porcupine. :D

I even got to go to the beach a little bit on sat in 20oC weather! It was beautiful!

I'm off to the cabin for a couple of days. If I'm not back assume I've been eaten by a bear or I've eaten my mother and am now living off the land. :D

I went for a job interview on monday, now it's a term position, but it's a term position for a year! And I just found out today I GOT IT!!

Same company, same position, just a different location and department!

*bounces around* EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Was going to go to the lake this weekend with family, but due to a fight with my Mom I'm no longer going.

People suck sometimes. :(

So here I am sitting at a clinic all because I had the misfortune to fall off a two step stool at work while I was filing and I hurt my ankle. My poor ankle I've used and abused it over the years. Please note I've hurt the same ankle before O.o Clearly the universe is out to get me.

I am currently feeling like Beetlejuice from the Beetlejuice movie. They just called out 55 and I'm #90...

UPDATE: so I just saw the triage doctor, finally, 3 hrs later. I now have to wait for an X-ray which is going to take another 2-3 hrs. Srsly, my life.

It is the weekend and other than writing and running through some things that need to be beta'd, I have no plans.

Thus I am contemplating marathoning this weekend Generation Kill and Season 3 of True Blood. I'm just not sure which one to start first. Lol

I got my hair cut last week, this week...I got it coloured for the first time in a few years and it turned out amazing and exactly how I wanted it!

My hairstylist did good. :D

Everyone is riding the high of getting an NHL team back here in Winnipeg. Especially this guy.

He wrote a tune called 'Welcome Back Winnipeg Jets' to the tune of Adam Sandlers 'Hanukkah'.
