FANDOM FRIDAY FIC REC #2

Every Friday post up to a max of 5 fics you want to rec once a week. Give links to the story, links to the author, a summary and a short blurb of why you recommend the fanfic to your friends.

So this weeks fandom fic rec will be very random as I just give out an assortment of fanfic. It shall cover a few different fandoms, but I hope everyone finds something they like in this post. :)

Fandoms included in this post will be: The Big Bang Theory, The A-Team (movie), Harry Potter, Inception, White Collar and Leverage

1) The Paladin Protocol by SpaceAnJL
Summary: Every journey has to start somewhere. This one began when Penny found an alternative to paintball, and Sheldon dusted off an old skill.

This fic is a lovely read as it shows the slowly deteriorating relationship of Penny and Leonard, but it also shows the friendship and then romance of Sheldon and Penny that comes from this. I also think this fic shows Leonard growing emotionally and actually doing something about, but he does act like an idiot before he does. It’s a definite read if you are a fan of the Sheldon/Penny ship.


2) Running Up Eight Eighty by Ryuuza Kochou
Summary: One man faces the wrath of his superiors. Three soldiers walk into a bar. Before they were the A-Team, before eight years and eighty missions, before they were friends, they were strangers whose paths had crossed. Set in the aftermath of Mexico...

Set during the movie just after they first meet in Mexico. Hannibal is defending his choices of his new team while the boys, surprise, surprise, get into some trouble. While in the movie it showed how everyone came together, this fic expands on the idea and how the men formed a budding friendship and made it into something stronger.


3) Harry's Little Army of Psychos by RuneWitchSakura
Summary: Oneshot from Ron's POV. Ron tries to explain to the twins just how Harry made the Ministry of Magic make a new classification for magical creatures, and why the puffskeins were now considered the scariest magical creature of all time. No pairings.

This is a hilarious read of how Harry Potter took out the Death Eaters and Voldemort with an army of Puffskeins. I kid you not, an army of Puffskeins. :D


4) Skybird by windswept_fic
Summary: Arthur and Eames adopt a kid and raise that kid into Neal Caffrey.

A crossover fic of Inception/White Collar. It follows the lives of these three and Eames and Arthur adopting Neal when he is young and living off the streets. Showing their ups and downs and why Neal doesn't like guns, the events of the movies are also shown in the background and how it affects the trio. A long fic read, spread over three parts. If you are a fan of the movie Inception and of the tv series White Collar, you'll definately love this fic.


5) Odd Jobs by Betty and Emerald Woman
Summary: Parker recruits Eliot for a side job. Comedy and horror ensue.

Three stories in this series of Odd jobs so far, it's a lovely read into an OT3 of Parker/Hardison/Eliot. It first starts with Parker recruting Eliot to help her seduce Hardison and somehow Eliot ends up falling for them both. And, there's kittens!

Author’s Note: So another breakthrough in this series and I want to extend thanks to fredbassett for the wonderful beta. :) Also, with the spelling of Connor’s Mum name. I know the more popular spelling for it is Chelsea, but I’m giving a little nod to my cousin who spells it Chelsae and I just wanted the character to be a little unique, just like Connor. :D And I can't believe I forgot to add this, but major thanks to chibi_kaz for picking out Connor's wand in a comment fic when I first started posting this series. Author's Note: My original plot of this fic went along these lines: I see Greyback and he's all 'grrr!I killed Remus, angst little scarhead boy, angst!!!' and Harry is all 'Grrrrr! I shall not angst, I shall hunt you down and keel you deaddeaddead!!!' and then Dean runs in on Harry taking care of Werewolf!Greyback in the forest and is like 'dude that's so hot I wanna suck your brains out through your mouth!' And then there is hotness and random combusting of the brain and they're both so hot and horny! 'Dean/Harry!Random Forest Sex. It still keeps some of that mindless plot in there lol. I have decided this story takes about 2 months after Sam has left for college. Harry is about 21 in this and Dean is 22. If you think about the Harry Potter series canon-wise, Harry is just a year younger than Dean, give or take as pointed out by the lovely Mhalachai's most current meta. I can only hope I kept true to the character of the characters.

Also, songwise, listen to either Laugh, I Nearly Died by the Rolling Stones or Fight the Good Fight by Triumph while reading the story. Makes it more interesting. Also, during the sex scene for a song to listen to that make sure it's Little Heaven by Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Dedication: This story is dedicated to mhalachaiswords, because without the plotbunnie that I cloned and then let mutate, this story would never had happened. *grins*
