Author Note: I hope this drabble finds you well. I hope I captured ‘Death’ well. It’s a little hard to get into his mind, you never know what he’s thinking. So I hope I at least portrayed him well. This is a 100 Drabble Series. Series Archive here.
Summary: Death kills another monster.

A broken branch. An indication in the mud. The moon shining bright and full tonight.
Crouched low to the ground, gun held out, ice-blue eyes scanning the foliage.
A loud howl broke through the night; the monster seemed to be laughing at him.
The monster came rushing into the clearing towards the hunter, towards it’s death.
BANG!
The monster was still advancing on the hunter, but more slowly. More shots rang out. The monster stopped moving.
Death had taken another life tonight, Death hadn’t met it’s match.
Edward dragged the body back with him, no feeling evident on his face.
