I always felt with empaths if they're getting overwhelmed by emotions they have some sort of breakdown or pass out. Wanted to try a different route. :)
And the 'cup of coffee scene' was my favourite to write! I know I've certainly thought about marrying one of my drinks because it's just so perfect at that moment. *grins*
