There's been a lot of articles on Elizabeth Taylor, who she was and how she grew up. Especially with her activism in AIDS/HIV.
Now, I don't have the disease nor do I know anyone personally who does, but in 2000 according to a news article, she accepted an award for all of her work she's done, but the quote she said, struck a chord in me.
The group recognized Taylor with its Vanguard Award in 2000. "What it comes down to, ultimately, is love," she said in accepting the honour. "How can anything bad come out of love? The bad stuff comes out of mistrust, misunderstanding and, God knows, from hate and from ignorance." (she recieved the award from GLADD.)
That quote can be applied to many things in your life, for her, it was the work she did, but I think, to quote The Beatles, "All you need is love." Especially in these times.
I don't know where I'm going with this ramble in the morning, just felt the need to get it out.
