Definitely a break-up song... It's weird. I loved TAI as a live band, but Bill Beckett's voice rarely gets me, especially when it's acoustic. I'll admit that it's because I'm a Butcher fan as far as voices go.
It's the oppopsite for Fall Out Boy. Their studio album are ok to me but give me an acoustic set any day.
Then I wonder whose clothes were left on the floor? ;)
I sadly never saw them live. :( I could listen to MG's voice for days though, I have a thing for accents. :D And I just saw this on his twitter the other day, but apparently he released a free EP! O.O
Hee! You know, Fall Out Boy was on VH1's Pop Up Video last night. lol They were showing 'Sugar We're Going Down' and some of the stuff they showed were interesting. Like in the video when Andy 'cocks his fingers' for the 'cock it and pull it' line, apparently he does that for every live show! I never knew that!
But with everything that's going on with the Decaydance family, bands on hiatus, change-up line ups up the wazoo, bands breaking up, it truly will be Cobra Starship in the end to save us all. ;)
I think your icon is trying to tell us something... maybe.
I never saw TAI live either I was supposed to see them on November 1st but you know. There's this running joke in my family that I may be cursed. When I was in middle school I was the only kid whose parents were divorced but suddenly all the friends I had made's parents started to split up in those bitter legal battle, and my Mom and I started being ridiculous.
Now I still feel that everytime I buy a ticket to see a band or performer I like. I get all " What if they split up? What if they die? What if it's MY fault?"
As for Cobra, being ther till the end is their mission statement and I hope we can hold them to it. :-)
Gabe is always trying to tell us something! *FANGS UP!*
Ouch, that's just ouch! I think that was kinda sucky to do, break up just before tour when tickets were sold and everyone was excited to see them live again for the first time in a couple of years. I can understand Bill's sentiments, but it was still, GRRR!! RAR! SMASH!
*pets* It's not your fault musicans are flaily and ridiculious. I had a chance to see FOB in 2009 during the honda civic tour with Blink 182, I didn't go. :(
Cobra 4 life! Tru fax! There needs to be like a cobra fanfic comm or something. The message of the Cobra needs to be spread! \o/
