Paul McGann was who?!

Paul McGann played the Eighth Doctor in the Doctor Who tv film.

Now you maybe wondering why I'm addressing such an obvious fact. What you might not know, he also gave us a very hilarious performance from another beloved film.




Yes, that's Paul McGann from The Three Musketeers. He played Giard who chased Chris O'Donnell throughout the entire film.

I only discovered this little tidbit today and felt I had to share this as you might not know. :D

Honey, I OWN that movie. I was in the Paul McGann Estrogen Brigade back in the day, and I've seen just about everything that man has ever been in.

Including a very adorable single he and his brothers put out in 1986 called, "Shame About The Boy."

He has two roles in Three Musketeers, actually - he was also Captain Jussac.

When my friend first showed me that movie, I think I caught his name in the open titles somewhere...

I do know that I was looking for him, wondering what role he was going to play.

When that first scene with him came on, I swear I would've fallen off of my chair if I had been sitting in one! I just about died every time he came on screen (because I was loving it so much and thinking about Doctor Who while watching that role makes it so much more amusing).
