Okay I'm looking forward to "aliens made us do it," "Wings (sudden onset)" and "Evil scientist" fics. But I'm also strangely intrigued by the "stigmata." (Stigmata: bodily marks or sores in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus.)
What would any character out of any fandom do if they had a stigmata... Would they try to hide it? Or would they flaunt it or try to use it to manipulate people?
If you're going for a modern fandom, they might hide it as someone might think they are self-mutilating when they aren't. Instant stay in the psycho ward...
But if someone (like Ezra) in the OW Mag 7 came down with these what might they or the others think? 100 years ago, people took the Bible a lot more literally than they do now. (Well, okay some folks still do, but more folks did then.) Most folks in the US had Bible readings and believed in Jesus. Non-Christians were a very small minority.
