Ezra hurried towards the CDC.
JD had sounded slightly panicked on the phone and asked that he hurry over as quickly as possible.
Millions of scenarios ran through his mind and could only wonder why JD was calling him to come over and not Buck.
He paused out side of the condo and knocked on the door. "JD?"
The door slowly opened and he walked inside, eyes scanning for any type of danger. "JD?" He tried again.
"Here," JD said softly.
Ezra spun around and saw why JD had called him. "Ah."
JD glared at him and flapped a hand in his direction. "That's all you can say to this?"
Ezra looked at the young man he considered a friend and JD didn't look too bad. Fairy blood was being awakend all over the world and no one knew who had it. There was no way to test for it. Ezra himself actually had Fairy blood.
It was just a minor power, but useful in his line of work. He could shift small parts of himself. Different coloured eyes, change the shape of his nose or eyes or even his mouth and ears and teeth. But it could only be one body part and then he'd have to shift back to his original form before shifting a new part.
But back to the current problem.
JD and his now ice, blue eyes.
"It's just blue eyes, I don't see the issue," Ezra said calmly.
"It's not just blue eyes," JD hissed at him and moved his hair back to show pointed ears. "And look!" He closed his eyes and Ezra felt wind whip around him inside the loft.
"Well, at least it wasn't wings?" Ezra pointed out reasonably.
"Ezra," JD hissed at him again and then the anger slumped out of him. "I don't know what to do."
"We'll figure things out, JD," Ezra said softly and patted his friend on the shoulder.

Eliot glared at the waste of space on the floor of the bar. The idiot had hit on Parker one too many times.
He knew Parker could take care of herself, had for years, but when she looked at him, confused by how to handle the jerk that didn't have her stabbing him and running away. Eliot took care of things.
"I think the lady warned you to go away," He growled.
"Yeah," Parker chirped over Eliot's shoulder. "You were warned and warned and warned." She kicked him in the hip and then looked at Eliot. "Can we go visit Hardison now? He wanted to watch some weird sci-fi show with us."
Eliot nodded. "Better there than here."

Draco wasn't sure about the new influx of teachers at Hogwarts.
Sword Fighting, Languages, DADA was now taught from two hunters: one was a vampire!
That was only some of the changes happening in the school, new classes, overhauling of the old classes.
Apparently a heir had been discovered, one with magic out in the Colonies and Draco wasn't sure what to make of him. He was well dressed and had a gold tooth in his mouth.
He had been asked to be called 'Ezra, not Mr. Standish.' And the scruffy haired man that took to following him around, Draco was quite sure they were lovers.
Yes, Draco was quite confused at the changes happening in the school and his world view was slowly shattering.
