(lj is still acting a bit wonky, so I hope you get this! I'm going to be not online a lot this weekend. Lots to do! O.o, Friday going to a boxing match and there will be drinking, Sat - going to watch rugby all day for a tourny and then getting taken out in the evening for a movie and drinking for my b-day, sunday - more rugby and huuuuge party sunday night that will last until 3am. :D Although, if this whole lj thing settles, you might see drunk Sparrow. ;) Monday is a recovery period. lol)

Mike grumbled as he pawed through Kevin's dvd collection. Kevin had gone out to get them some food from 'this place that was amazing but didn't deliver'. Mike took Kevin's word on it.

But in the meantime, he was trying to find something for them to watch for the evening that would have Kevin's wings all twitching with excitement. Mike grinned.

Pausing, Mike remembered a half assed conversation about Kevin mentioning that sometimes he kept DVD's upstairs in their bedroom.

Heading upstairs, Mike got to Kevin's bed room - it wasn't their bedroom, yet. Going over to the huge walk-in closet, he started to look through the various drawers for any kind of extra DVD's.

Coming up to a large two door cabinate, he pulled the door open and his eyes widened. Grabbing one of the dvd's, he started laughing as he turned it over.

Kevin grinned, wings twitching in happiness as he entered his home. It was a bit of a drive, but that place had some of the best thai food in the city. He only hoped Mike enjoyed it.

The sounds of the tv drifted forward as he toed off his shoes and headed to the kitchen to put everything together. "Did you get started without me, Mike?"

"Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh...now die!"

Kevin frowned. He knew that quote...

Walking into the living room with the food, he saw what Mike was watching...his Firefly dvd's.

Mike looked at him gleeful. "Found your secret stash in the closet." If possible, he grinned even wider. "You closet geek, you!"

Kevin sighed and headed over. "Well, it's Firefly!" He handed the food over. "What else did you find?"

Mike started ticking things off his fingers. "The anime, the figurines, the comics and manga."

Kevin sighed again. "Yes, I am a huge geek."

Laughing softly, Mike pulled Kevin in for a kiss. "We'll just tack it next to the 'dork' bit you got going on."

Kevin pouted at him.

HAHAHA, FIREFLY FTW! Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ~flail~

Mike finally watches JONAS with the TAI guys. >:D

Kevin had told Mike about the changes to the script that had to be made when their wings had come out. Secretly, Mike was a little disappointed they didn't go for the spy routine - he'd have loved to have seen Kevin sneaking around in all black, being competent and shit.

But this was...well, adorable. Even Sisky was giggling as the cake mixture went everywhere and Kevin blinked owlishly at the camera, dust and glitter combining in the air.

Mike let himself have a little smile. It was actually kinda sweet, even without the spy gadgets.

That is adorable! Love! <3 And the flour, hee!

umm, dealing with the anti-fairy types :)

(gah, I am seriously hitting the writer's block here, um...)

When the world changed overnight with the boom in Fairy heritage populating the human species a new faction showed up, declaring themselves 'The Pure Human Movement'.

The PHM pronounced 'Fem', saw anyone with Fairy heritage as abominations and should 'go home' to wherever they originally belonged.

Because, why would they be sprouting wings and claws and fangs if their 'homeland' wasn't calling them home.

It was the 'calling them home' point that usually worried to Kevin. Scientists and the like still couldn't figure out what was causing the phenomemon, but once in a while Kevin dreamed of just getting up, walking away from Mike and the others and just disappearing to where Fairies were supposed to live.

The PHM especially liked targeting the Jonas Brothers because they were in the public spotlight. They had been 'good, christian boys' and now they 'were tainted' in the eyes of the group.

Kevin could still remember the first concert they played with the wings and redesigned stage. There were protesters outside the venue with signs calling out hateful things and produce being thrown at their bus. Kevin still couldn't imagine how they were so awful that people could generate that much hate for something they didn't understand.

Kevin wasn't wrong, he just had wings, pointed ears and glittered sometimes when startled.

He just didn't understand people sometimes and he especially didn't understand how The PHM could have all this hate and fear for something that Kevin saw as natural and wonderful.

Mike/Kevin, wacky fairy shenanigans

I need something cute and funny at the moment. :|

it may be a few days til i get to this, i literally staggered home and collapsed in front of the tv, and now i am going to bed.

but i WILL get to this. (OMGthisweekisgoingtokillme)

That's fine, it took me a couple of days to get to mine and I was busy over the weekend. :) You're busy over the week. :D

(eep! don't let the week kill you aki! *sends chocolate and Mike/Kevin plushies to cuddle*)

Everyone knew about the wings. And anyone who'd spent any time around a relaxed Kevin knew about the glitter, and the hovering, and the glowing, and of course, the blue.

Then there were the things that were closely guarded secrets. Like the effect of honey on fey systems.

Then there was the other stuff. The stuff nobody would believe.

Like the sleep-flying. That one, at least, had an innocent enough story - Mike and Kevin had camped out on the couch, watching movies, and Kevin had fallen asleep. About half an hour later, Mike was smiling as Kevin twitched and then moaned in his dreams.

Then he started to lift gently off Mike's legs. Mike panicked and grabbed onto Kevin. Kevin jerked awake with a yelp and fell in a shower of glitter so thick Mike was still a little sparkly three days later.

He didn't let Kevin live it down for much, much longer.

*giggles* sleep flying! Sparkly Mike! That is awesome! Now, I wonder what Kevin was dreaming about. ;)

Mike dodged to the side again as Kevin's wing flicked up and nearly nailed him in the face.

"Sorry," Kevin sighed and Mike could feel Kevin's shoulders tense under his hands.

"No, we are going to get this," Mike stated stubbornly and rubbed a thumb into a particular tense spot.

"I don't think this is going to work," Kevin said, wings twitching again.

"I am bound and determined to give you a massage, Kev," Mike sighed and then started his ministrations again.

Mike could feel Kevin tensing under him, trying to keep his wings still and under control. Biting his lip, Mike laid a hand between Kevin's wings and stroked down gently.

Kevin went boneless and sighed and the wings finally stilled.

Mike grinned and stroked down again.

Kevin moaned.

Finally, he could start somewhere. Mike started to massage Kevin gently and carefully in between the wings and then started to work on the shoulders.

Skippy, TAI, the season affecting fairies

"ACHOO!" The resounding sneeze was followed by a billow of glitter.

Mike frowned and opened the door to the closet all the way. All the contents of the closet were piled up in the hallway, and in the closet Kevin sat, huddled under a blanket, surrounded by a snow of used tissues, looking miserable. "Close the door," he said thickly. "Otherwise I'll bedazzle the house."

"What's wrong?" Mike asked, crouching down.

"Hayfever," Kevin moaned. "It never used to be this bad, then my wings came in, and nothing works anymore." His eyes widened and he ducked under his pillow. The sneeze was followed by a release of glitter so strong it made the blanket billow. Kevin reappeared, nose red and eyes puffy. "My nose hurts and my wings hurt and can we move somewhere where there is no pollen? Like Mars?"

Mike patted Kevin's knee and tried not to let his smile show.

Awww, poor Kevin! *patpats* And hiding in the closet! *grins* That is going to be one glittery closet by the time he's done. lol

mike/kevin - small comfort

Kevin watched the youtube clip over and over again. He wanted to bang his head against the coffee table.

Mike sitting next to Kevin, hit play again. "It's not so bad."

"I flew into an amp," Kevin whined and buried his head into his hands.

"Well, you kind of twirled slashed flew into an amp," Mike pointed out and hit play again. "It's not so bad."

"Do you have to keep watching it?"

Mike just grinned. "Yep!"

Kevin pouted at him, wings twitching. "You are mean and so totally not my boyfriend."

Mike laughed this time. "Lies." He hit play again.

AHAHAHAA, KLUTZ! WIN!

I thought I would use real events and add them to this little 'verse. :D

Hmmm, let's see...Joe waking up with the wings, seeing Nick blue and finding out he can glow. :D

(also! Finally saw my last two leverage eps and Parker2000 ftw! :D and did you see the trailer for the next couple of eps? hardison!!!!! :D)

(and is it bad I want to see skippy/alphas fic? With Kevin as the hyperkinestic? he would totally be a badass sniper in the army, get kicked out, his parents wouldn't want him because he came out as gay and now he's part of this new group due to him being brainwashed...BLAME!!! lol)

OMG can we talk Alphas/Bandom for a minute? Because hyperkinesthetic would be KICKASS (he's a gymnast!) and Nic can compel you to do stuff :) And Mike sees radio waves and Nic's voice doesn't work on him!
