Ryland held Frankie in his arms as Gabe knocked. Kevin opened the door with a smile. "Bring him in," he said.

"Jonas, seriously, we didn't" Gabe began as they let Ryland pass, but KEvin stopped him with a touch.

"We've been expecting this for months, sorry it had to happen while you had him," Kevin said. "No need to apologize. I better Frankie's just going to be cranky it cut short his visit. He's been trying to meet you for weeks."

Gabe, a little mollified, followed Kevin through to the lounge. Frankie was lying on his side, facing the back of the couch as his brothers checked over his wings. "....and I had juice, and Nate was teaching me this drum trick, and then I felt hot and itchy and..." and he was crying.

His mother soothed him with a touch. "Shh, baby. Your fever's already coming down, and they are such beautiful wings."

"Badass," Joe corrected, only earning a mildly scolding look from his mother. "Frankie, your wings are the colour of your hair, really dark and cool."

"Raven's wings," Gabe said. Everyone looked at him, but Frankie laughed.

"Cool. Raven's are cool, right Gabe?"

"Right, el cuervo," Gabe promised. He nodded at Ryland, and the two quietly backed out.

"Hey," Kevin called as they steped off the bus. He leaned down the steps. "You two better re-kidnap him once he's feeling better, otherwise he'll be all disappointed."

Gabe and Ryland traded a look and a nod. "How do you feel about taking defectors, Team Jonas."

Kevin smirked. "'Bout time you came to your senses and joined the cool winged kids."

Gabe laughed and nodded. "Text us when raven-boy's feeling better, we'll scheme a little scheme as a wing-warming present."

With a skip in their step, the two men headed back to their bus.

Frankie goes shy when Mike comes over to visit on the bus, not wanting to show off his wings to him

But Mike has been coached, and besides, he is wise in the ways of the Frankie.

The wings are officially badass. It's not even a lie. They're, like, five shades of black and long and narrow and kinda sleek.

"And they don't glitter, yes!" Frankie added with a fistpump.

"You know, you look like a fairy of old," Mike said as he took in Frankie's new look.

"Huh?"

"The wings, claws, fangs and ears," Mike pointed out. "Those type of fairies used to guard treasure and glittery things."

Frankie adopted a thoughtful look on his face. "Really?"

"Really," Mike promised. If Mike knew what Frankie had been thinking when he told him that story, he would've retracted it right away.

Kevin was making a sandwich for himself and Mike when there was a warcry and Frankie pouncing on him.

It was a good thing the wings were flexable as they both went down in a tangle of limbs. "Frankie!" Kevin cried out as Frankie clung to him like a limpet.

"You glitter, Kevin," Frankie pointed out and then grinned, fangs flashing. "All your treasure and glitter belong to me."

Kevin sighed and wondered who he had to kill for putting that story into Frankie's head.

Mike plucked Frankie off him. "Glitter isn't real treasure," Mike told him, and Kevin sighed and reminded himself he kinda loved the moron, and it'd be bad form to kill him.

Frankie scampered off in search of better quality treasure. Mike's smile faded as he saw rthe look on Kevin's face. "What?"

"You filled his head with that story?" Kevin asked as he slowly got up, flexed his wings to make sure they weren't hurt and crossed his arms across his chest.

"Well, yeah," Mike shrugged. "He was kinda freaking out and hiding from me and I thought it'd make him feel better about the whole," He waved his hand. "Transformation."

Kevin sighed. "You're adorable when you're being stupid," he told Mike fondly. "You've just given him an excuse to steal stuff," he added off Mike's blank look.

Mike's sudden expression of "Ooops" really was adorable.

Frankie escaped to his bunk, drawing the curtain close, wings fluttering excitable behind him. He frowned and they stilled.

Reaching under his pillow and matress, he pulled out a small jar filled with nickles. He really did like shiny and treasure. And now he had a reason on why he was acting like a squirrel with nuts.

He quickly hid the jar away and sighed. Maybe if he hammed it up really well they wouldn't notice if small things went missing.

It wasn't bad, just, he liked shiny things.

And he was always careful not to take things that were important to others, just little things that wouldn't be missed.

ummm, Mike/Kevin - public outing

Mike and Kevin were sitting on a bench at the beach. They were leaning against one another, sharing a bowl of frozen yogert bought from a stand.

Kevin was basking in the sunlight, wings idly fanning them from the heat.

"Wish I had wings to fan myself," Mike grumbled.

Kevin smirked and patted Mike on the cheek. "Aw, does Mike want something to cool him down?" He then laughed. "If you want wings, Pete's halloween party is coming up, I'm sure we could find - something."

"I don't care what anyone else says, you're the most evil of the Jonases," Mike said as he dug into the yogert.

Kevin beamed at him.

Mike/Kevin, Pete's halloween party, costumes and wings. :D

Mike wondered how come Kevin was so damn graceful. Then again, his were real, not these stupid plastered on things. Mike winced as he felt his wings brush something else, but nothing smashed, so he called it a win and moved on.

Besides, Pete's house was Bronx-proofed, it could survive a hundred drunk rockstars in silly costumes.

Gabe laughed and saluted. Mike kept moving, looknig for a drink.

Kevin was truly the evil one. Who else would make and win and carry through a bet where the loser ended up in wings, a pink tutu, and tights.

He was going to make Kevin pay for this. Possibly the penance will involve Kevin being tied to the bed.

He winced as he felt a little tug under the tutu. Screw wings, tights were definitely not the right apparel to be getting a semi in.

Mike gave up on trying to find a drink and went to find his boyfriend instead. Revenge started now

Parents came home, so I had to turn the compy off and skedaddle home. :)

Gabe re-kidnaps the youngest Jonas. :D

Frankie was deposited on the bottom step in a Cobra Starship t-shirt, some luridly bright plastic sunglasses, and with his wings almost vibrating with excitement and sugar.

Kevin handed the hyperactive pre-teen off to his brothers and went to find Mike. "Gabe's on our side now, right? So we can't kill him for winding Frankie up?"

Mike kissed his cheek. "That's just Gabe's way of saying he cares."

Hee!! Gabe is awesome and I think Frankie has been converted to the way of The Cobra. He's going to be wearing neon now. :D

and drumming like a fiend! there yu go, next prompt - Frankie and Nate - drum lessons

Nate managed to contain his laughter when Frankie showed up on the Cobra bus, Joe dropping him off, covered head to toe in green neon.

Looks like Gabe had another convert. Nate managed to get the rest of his band off of the bus, so they could have some private lessons.

Frankie was quite the drumming prodigy and he wanted to hone that.

"Ready to drum, Frankster?" Nate asked as he set up the practice pads.

"Definately!" Frankie said excitidly, wings twitching with happiness.

The new look suited Frankie. Nate decided as he got out his own sticks and Frankie sat across from him, his own sticks in hand.

Frankie bounced in his seat and Nate watched as he rose a little into the air and then bounced back down onto the seat. Frankie stilled his wings and looked a little embarressed.

"That looked pretty cool, Frankster," Nate grinned at him and tapped out a rhythm on the pads. "Now, remember that drumming trick I was showing you last time?"

"Uh huh."

"Well, let's try it again," Nate said and started tapping out a beat.

AHAHAH! COBRA CONVERT! TRAINEE DRUM NINJA

is Frankie going to be inducted into the secret society of drum ninjas?

Frankie is going through a Cobra phase, until he finds something else, then Gabe will pout. :D

Chicago was a city of ice and snow. Nick was from Jersey, he thought he knew snow, but Jersey snow was more ice and slush. Chicago snow was blue-white walls of crystal, absorbing all sound and making it seem like he needed to whisper.

Bill was driving, slow but relaxed. "Will it be closed?" Nick asked, his voice softer than expected.

Bill shook his head, never taking his eyes off the white road. "Nah. Or if it is, they'll still let us in. Private party. Hey," he added at Nick's silence. "We promised Kevin we'd look after you and show you a good time. And baby, Chicago has lots of good times, even under five feet of snow."

Awww, TAI will take care of you Nick! band in laws! :D

TAI finds out Nick doesn't get cold in winter weather. :D

Nick sighed as he realized the notebook he needed right now wasn't in his bag. He mentally rewound until the last time he could remember having it; in the car, driving back, he'd taken it out to scribble a lyric note, and then...

He sighed again. Then Bill had asked him about waffles or something, and he'd put it in the door pocket. Blast.

Nick stumbled downstairs, trying to stay sleepy, not let himself wake. He knew as soon as he did, he'd lose the melody he'd been dreaming. He opened the front door and padded out across the snow to where the car was sitting at the end of the drive. The snow squeaked as it pushed through his toes, and Nick had to wrestle with the handle to get the door open.

The notebook was where he had left it. Cuddling it to his chest, Nick shut the car door and padded back to the open front door.

Bill was coming down the stairs. "Fuck, it's freezing...Jonas!" he yelped, speeding up. "What the fuck, it's like minus a hundred out there. Where's your coat...and your fucknig shoes!"

Nick looked down at the crystallized flakes still clinging to his feet. "Oh," he mumbled, finally awake.
